West Texas/Permian Basin Pipeline Survey Project (Multiple Openings)

Job Description:

Landpoint Survey company is hiring for our Special Projects division for a West Texas/Permian Basin project with multiple positions available for a 180-mile preliminary pipeline survey project.

Work will begin around Fort Stockton/Pecos area but work will eventually flow east.

Positions to be filled include:

Rodman/Instrument Man (Multiple) – Field Personnel
Party Chief (Multiple) – Field Personnel

Requirements (will vary depending on position)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Must be able and willing to travel.
  • Field positions will be offered per diem to assist with travel. Daily and/or weekly travel will be required for the duration of the project.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • A minimum of 1 year total survey experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in controlling the function of surveying instruments, calculators and/or various computer equipment and technology.
  • Must be physically able to work long hours and carry heavy loads.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential to these positions.
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather.
  • Valid Drivers License required and for some positions, must be able to pass MVR.
  • Successful passing of drug test, fit-for-work light physical, I-9 verification, MVR and background check required as pre-employment terms.
