Draftsman AutoCAD Technician

Landpoint is currently looking for an employee with a strong work ethic and an excellent attention to detail in order to fill a position as a AutoCAD/Draftsman for our Bossier City, LA location and team. 

Essential Functions

  • Job Calculation / Reviewing of field crew notes
  • Drafting Surveys to include, Pipelines, Boundaries, Topographic Surveys, and more
  • Coordinating with other drafting/CAD team members, field and crew members, Project Managers and surveyors 
  • Permitting for wells
  • Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD software, or other similiar software programs
  • Coordinates and directs all phases of land survey and is responsible for work results and progress of assigned survey parties, training subordinate personnel and reviewing survey procedures
  • Knowledge of the principles, techniques and practices of land surveying
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices and instruments used in drafting
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and construction specifications, plans

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a G.E.D. Certificate
  • Minimum Experience 3+ Years
  • AutoCAD 2012-2017, Carlson Survey, Trimble Business Center experience
  • Survey / Title work experience
  • Legal / Property description knowledge
  • Drafting experience highly preferred
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
